Wednesday, April 19, 2023, 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
with Diane Ward and Kelly Taylor

Join Diane and Kelly, two local artists who have exhibited in the Gallery, and learn how to create a collage. Collage is an artistic composition made of various materials (such as paper, cloth, or wood) glued on a surface. Diane and Kelly will lead the class in understanding the materials, process, and completion of a collage. No experience is necessary, and all supplies will be provided. Collage allows for your own creativity in its assembly to shine through.

Offering: $50 (includes supplies)

ABOUT KELLY TAYLOR
Kelly Taylor's artist journey started at an early age when she began experimenting with markers, scissors, paints, paper, and glue.  A love of color, texture, and the visual richness of life have all contributed to her lifelong pursuit of creating art.  Acrylic paints, gels, and pastes; collages, photographs, and photo transfers are some of the materials and techniques she now uses to create abstract art in her home studio. She is a member of Syntax: Mixed Media Artists, a group of five women who create art independently and meet regularly to critique each other’s work and to share ideas and techniques.
