Masterpiece Mantras: “Imagine the Possibilities”
Virtual Art Retreat with Joanne Sharpe
September 28 & 30, 2020
Two Options: 1:00-3:30 p.m. or 6:30-9:00 p.m.

Masterpiece Mantras: “Imagine the Possibilities ”
An overnight retreat was planned for September 2020, but with all that is happening in the world we had to cancel.  We received many requests to host a virtual retreat around the same time and thanks to the power of Zoom, wow do we have a treat for you!

Come be inspired, encouraged and empowered for two glorious days with artist, Joanne Sharpe.  Design 15 artfully curated painted pieces “Joanne style” with assorted materials, themes and prompts fuel to nurture your creativity.  Imagine the possibilities!

GOODY MAIL! Before the retreat begins, you will receive a real “swag kit” sent in snail mail with some surprises and materials for the retreat projects. Gather your materials from the supply list and get ready to create.

“ART NOTES”! Learn the popular, energizing art skill of visual notetaking, capturing ideas and teachings with little sketches, words and stylized lettering in a simple journal.

UNBRIDLED ARTMAKING!  Create along with Joanne as she shares fresh ideas and reimagined art techniques.  Make your mark in watercolor painting, vibrant hand lettering, lively collage and expressive pen and ink.  You’ll also receive content on PDF handouts (emailed before class starts) to assemble 15 masterpieces of inspirational, motivational mantras for artful living.

LIVE VIRTUALLY! Retreat is live and in real time on Zoom and will be recorded.   We’ll have the ability to chat, network, critique and answer questions as Joanne leads us in project demonstrations.  We can’t wait to “see” your faces!

DAY GROUP OR EVENING GROUP?  You chose which group works for you to attend. Same program will be offered for each group, so please only sign up for one.
DAY GROUP - Monday, Sept. 28 and Wednesday, Sept. 30 - 1:00-3:30 p.m.
EVENING GROUP -
Monday, Sept. 28 and Wednesday, Sept. 30 - 6:30-9:00 p.m.
Neither group will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 29, this day is designated as a "work on your projects" day.

PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP!  After you register, we’ll invite you to join our “ARTFULLY YOURS” CT RETREAT ZOOM 2020 group to share and prepare, ask questions and network with your fellow workshop attendees.

VERY LIMITED SEATING!  In an attempt to keep the group manageable, we are limiting attendee spaces.  Get your registration in by before September 18, 2020 so we have enough time to mail you the goodies and swag!  Or registration can be placed up to September 23 if you can pick up your materials at Holy Family between 3:00-5:00 p.m. on September 25.
