Paint Your Spring Scarf
Saturday, May 1, 2021, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
​(Rain date: Sunday, May 2, 2021)
with Pam Hardiman

Just in time for Mother’s Day and Pentecost! Paint yourself or your loved one a scarf to wear or use on your prayer table. Working with easy-to-use water-based paints specifically formulated for silk, we’ll learn and incorporate several painting techniques. Wear old clothes or an apron. Cost of class includes materials for one scarf.  Participation is limited to 14. 
 
Class will be held outside. Please wear a mask and follow social distance guidelines.

Offering: $50, includes materials to make one scarf

ABOUT PAM HARDIMAN
Pam Hardiman creates vibrant liturgical fiber art at her studios in Farmington, CT, and Ludlow, VT, including pieced and painted banners, paraments, vestments, and clothing.  Author of the book, Raise the Banners High!, Pam has done this work full time since 2004, with commissions from churches, schools, hospitals, and retreat centers (including Holy Family) across the country and around the world.

History of our space

The Monastery Gallery of Art is located on the historic grounds of Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center. The MGA occupies a space on the B floor adjacent to the Public Chapel and that was once used as a dining room by the Passionist Community.

We are open daily, during Holy Family business hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
