About the MGA
The Monastery Gallery of Art, at Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center, unites the arts, creativity and the sacred. We welcome works from artists of all backgrounds drawing on the wisdom of diverse faith traditions. Through exhibitions and educational programs, The Monastery Gallery of Art values and promotes all forms of art that explore themes of compassion, resilience, peacemaking, loving kindness, social justice, and care for others and our planet.
Current Exhibit - The Works of Nicholas Scalise
July 10 - October 27, 2019
Nicholas Peter Scalise (1932-2009) was a fine arts artist whose career spanned over 50 years. During that time, he received more than 200 regional and national awards and had more than 30 solo exhibits at galleries and museums across the United States.
Join us for a reception for this exhibit which will be on display in the Monastery Gallery of Art from July 10, 2019 to October 27, 2019.

History of our space
The Monastery Gallery of Art is located on the historic grounds of Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center. The MGA occupies a space on the B ﬂoor adjacent to the Public Chapel and that was once used as a dining room by the Passionist Community.
