Current Exhibit

The Monastery Gallery of Art will host a reception for the gallery’s summer exhibition, "Quintessence, the Work of Five Artists," on Friday, Aug. 5, from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.
The exhibition will offer a chance to meet five artists with different styles, media, and focus and to chat with them about their work. The artists are Judy Giguere, Mary Marsan, Cynthia Vascak, Karen Israel, and James Spinelli.
Helen Frankenthaler, an abstract artist, says, “Every canvas is a journey all its own.” The “Quintessence” artists have each traveled their own journeys and are eager for guests to view their work and travel with them.
There is no cost to attend the reception and no need to register in advance. Refreshments will be served. The “Quintessence” exhibit runs through Sept. 6.
